Musketeer Engineering was established in 1969 at Lambeg Mills. Over the years, the company has moved premises on a number of occasions and, in 1987, moved into shared accommodation at Blaris Industrial Estate, Lisburn with sister company, Flexequip, though the two businesses continue to operate as separate entities. Since then, Musketeer has also had a spell based in Belfast, but is once again back sharing premises with Flexequip and continuing to grow from strength to strength.
In 1987 the company was still focused on its original core interests - i.e. trading in general hydraulic components - but they decided to develop the knowledge and experience they had accumulated over the years and Musketeer evolved into a full-blown fluid power engineering company, covering hydraulics, pneumatics and associated electronic controls That has been the cornerstone on which Musketeer Engineering has built its reputation ever since - a fluid power specialist, offering system design expertise and consultancy through to installation, commissioning and maintenance services.
QUALITY ASSURED
In March 1994 they achieved the ISO 9001 quality registration covering all aspects of the business, Musketeer Engineering has sustained that accreditation continuously since then, which was upgraded to the current standard ISO 9001 2000 five years ago and is an assurance that all our work is carried out to internationally recognised quality standards.
The company has been around for a long time and enjoys widespread respect within the fluid power industry throughout the UK and Ireland. In fact, while they started out as a company focused on the island of Ireland, we're increasingly finding our expertise being sought in mainland GB. The bottom line is that Musketeer is widely acknowledged as specialists in the field of Fluid Power Engineering and their credentials speak for themselves.
